Join HMM staff members Ricky Brindley and Ange Holland as he takes on a significant challenge to support the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. On Saturday, 3rd June, Ricky and Ange will be participating in a sponsored 5-mile charity walk around Llam and Thorpe, in memory of Chris Green (Kiffer). The event aims to raise funds for this vital charity that provides critical care and support to those in need.
The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is crucial in the region by delivering pre-hospital emergency care to those facing life-threatening injuries or illnesses. Their highly skilled and dedicated aircrew, including doctors and critical care paramedics, work tirelessly to provide advanced medical treatment at the scene of an incident or during air transfers to the hospital.
Every day, the Midlands Air Ambulance crews respond to a variety of emergencies, including road traffic accidents, sports injuries, medical emergencies, and more. By providing rapid response and advanced medical interventions, they significantly improve the chances of survival and recovery for patients in their most critical moments.
The funds raised through Ricky and Ange’s sponsored charity walk will directly contribute to supporting the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity in maintaining its lifesaving operations. From purchasing state-of-the-art medical equipment to maintaining their fleet of helicopters, every donation makes a difference in saving lives and supporting communities in the Midlands region.
The charity walk will commence at 9:30am from the Dovedale Tea Room at DE5 2AZ. Ricky and Ange invites friends, colleagues, and supporters to join him on this meaningful journey to honour the memory of Chris Green (Kiffer) and contribute to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s lifesaving efforts.
