Client Background:
HMM recently carried out a project in Stoke-On-Trent. Our domestic client wanted to rejuvenate their outdated bathroom, improve accessibility without compromising on style. The HMM team embarked on this project to create a modern and user-friendly space that met the client’s specific needs.
Objective
The primary goal was to replace the old and inaccessible bathroom fixtures with a new, contemporary design. The focus was on incorporating accessibility features while maintaining an aesthetic appeal.
Challenges:
The main challenge was to transform a limited space into a functional and accessible bathroom without compromising on comfort and visual appeal.
Phase 1
Demolition and Preparation
The team took care and attention to remove the existing fixtures, ensuring a clean slate for the new design this involved:

There was a need to improve accessibility, so the team installed a spacious and accessible shower, designed for ease of use and mobility. Including:
Installation of a spacious, curbless shower with grab bars for enhanced accessibility.
Utilisation of non-slip tiles for added safety.
Phase 3
Cabinet Installation
The team took care and attention to remove the existing fixtures, ensuring a clean slate for the new design this involved:

Finishing Touches
The team worked with the client to select and install appropriate flooring and wall finishes that complemented the overall design including:
